My Story

Michael Bradford DeLuise opens the door to success for corporations, not-for-profits, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and students.

 

Co-creator of America’s first automated theatrical box office system for the Shubert Organization, his areas of specialties include marketing, branding, funding, management consulting, and communications technology.

 

He solidifies goals and vision, explores needs, creates an effective organizational foundation, supports implementation of business plans, and works with management to grow and succeed financially within the organizational culture.

Recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island, he was founding President of the Melville Chamber of Commerce, former Vice President of University Relations at Hofstra University, Vice President of Development and External Affairs at Dowling College, President of DeLuise, Hirschman and Holley, an award winning full service marketing company with offices in New York, Boston, and Washington, D.C., serving high profile clients including the John F. Kennedy Center, the New York Philharmonic, American Museum of Natural History, and Radio City Music Hall. His credits include creating the television commercials for the original Broadway productions of “Mummenschanz,” “Annie,” and David Merrick’s “42nd Street.”

He has been widely recognized throughout a remarkable career. In 1979, he was called a “pioneer of theatrical marketing” in TV Guide. In 1996 the President of Verona, Italy, he was presented with the title of “Cavalier.”

 

He was named “2012 Long Islander of the Year”. In 2014 he was honored by the Town of Huntington for his community service. He has written numerous columns on the challenges of business, guest lectures, and presents business related programs. He has served as Chair of the Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, on the Board of the Huntington Long Island Economic Development Agency and served as a Board Member of the Glen Cove Industrial Development Agency.

 

A graduate of New York University, he currently resides in Eugene, OR serving on several community boards including as Chair of the City of Eugene Downtown Neighborhood Association, Vice Chair of WOW Hall and board member of other community organizations.
